We hired LaPorte to do a full pack and then move us from Coquitlam to the Okanagan. A team of 3 arrived and had our 3000-square-foot house completely packed up in one day. The next day, 5 guys arrived and loaded our belongings into two trucks and were extremely efficient and careful, and very personable. Four of them arrived at our place in the Okanagan and we cannot believe how quickly they had everything unloaded, placed exactly where we wanted it, and furniture re-assembled. Their quote was almost exactly what ended up paying (we actually paid a little less than quoted :). Special thanks to the Ty-Bros, Mike B and Silver B (and Jim P who helped load), as they were truly excellent.

I’m so glad I chose LaPorte for my move. After a bad experience with another company last time, I was pretty apprehensive, but my communication with Becky, from the initial email all the way through moving day, gave me real confidence. When the day came, everything went as smoothly and efficiently as I could’ve hoped. Chance, Ayo, and Sammy were fantastic. They were super friendly, clear about everything, and totally accommodating. I had a bed frame that needed to be delivered to a different location and set up, and they handled it with no problem at all. These guys clearly knew what they were doing, and that put me at ease throughout the whole day. I’ll be using LaPorte for my next move and recommending them to anyone who asks.
