LaPorte came to my rescue when the movers that I had booked, announced that they didn’t have the right truck, men for move. The day before. But Becky at LaPorte told me she would do her best and they pulled off a long distance move with a wonderful team of packers and moving crew. Hard working, professional and kind. They are the best!!!
Highly recommend these guys. We had to move our 4000 sf home into storage for 3 months then into a new condo with the challenges of short time frame for the elevator. These guys were great handling both ends of it. Their storage fees were also reasonable. Very professional & understanding of the stress of people when moving. (Being a new condo there were a few people moving in at the same time!)
The crew was friendly and worked hard. Everything went very smoothly for both packing, loading and unloading. Thank you for helping make a stressful chaotic time as good as it can be!
From original pick up of my furniture through storage and finally delivery 9 mos later Laporte did everything so smoothly. Every employee was polite, courteous with a “can-do attitude”. Absolutely top-notch. Would definitely use again and recommend to my friends. It was a stressful time and they made it so easy.

LaPorte Moving just completed our move to a new home after 33 years in our former home. This company delivers what they say! Their initial consultation was thorough, the contents were packed with care and the 3 movers (Omur, Gurel and Mike H) were simply the BEST. Everything was handled with care, they made sure that floors were protected, they took away garbage and cardboard, and they were so positive. They had the “can do” attitude in spades. LaPorte Moving and storage go above and beyond and give absolutely the best service ever They’re packing crew. Did an absolute excellent job a 12 piece dinner set an eight piece dinner set and multiple very expensive ornaments all packaged without one breakage.
